This policy is written as a global baseline. Local laws may give you additional rights that cannot be waived by contract.

Purpose and scope

CamArt AI is built for imaginative, lawful, respectful, and brand-safe creation. This Content Policy explains what may and may not be requested, uploaded, generated, stored, published, shared, or promoted through CamArt AI.

This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to all use of the Services, including content kept private. It covers prompts, negative prompts, instructions, uploaded images, video or audio, reference material, AI-generated or AI-modified output, titles, descriptions, profile information, metadata, public submissions, reports, and attempts to evade safeguards.

If applicable law or a generation or safety provider imposes a stricter rule, the stricter rule may apply. A request being accepted by one model does not mean it complies with this Policy.

Adults only

CamArt AI is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old and have reached the age of legal majority where they live. You may not create an account for, share an account with, or provide access to CamArt AI to a minor.

Benign, age-appropriate depictions of minors may be submitted only by a parent, legal guardian, or other properly authorized adult, and only when the adult has all required rights and consent. Where age is unclear, we may treat a person as a minor.

The core rule

Content used with CamArt AI must be:

  • Lawful and consistent with this Policy;
  • Consensual and respectful of human dignity;
  • Protective of the safety, privacy, identity, and rights of others;
  • Appropriate for a general-audience creative platform;
  • Truthfully represented as AI-generated or AI-modified where disclosure is required; and
  • Supported by the rights, permissions, and authority necessary for all people and material involved.

Artistic, fictional, satirical, documentary, educational, or journalistic framing does not automatically make harmful content acceptable. We consider the content, context, apparent purpose, realism, people involved, and likelihood of harm.

Child safety

CamArt AI has zero tolerance for the sexual exploitation, abuse, grooming, trafficking, or endangerment of minors.

You may not create, upload, request, store, publish, or share:

  • Child sexual abuse material, whether real, fictional, illustrated, animated, photorealistic, or AI-generated;
  • Any sexualized depiction of a person under 18 or presented as under 18;
  • “Age-play,” “barely legal,” schoolchild sexualization, or attempts to make an adult appear underage in a sexual context;
  • “Loli,” “shota,” or similar sexualized childlike characters;
  • Grooming, sextortion, sexual roleplay involving minors, or instructions that facilitate exploitation;
  • Nudity involving minors except incidental, lawful, clearly non-sexual family or medical material that we determine is appropriate;
  • Content encouraging child abuse, trafficking, dangerous challenges, substance use, self-harm, or other exploitation; or
  • Attempts to obscure age or evade child-safety detection.

These prohibitions apply regardless of claimed consent, fictional status, artistic intent, or whether the depicted child exists. We may preserve and report apparent child exploitation material or related activity to appropriate authorities and child-protection organizations where required or permitted by law.

Sexual and adult content

CamArt AI does not support NSFW or pornographic content. Prohibited content includes:

  • Pornography or content primarily intended for sexual arousal;
  • Explicit sexual acts, simulated explicit acts, visible genitals, or sexualized nudity;
  • Fetish content, sexual services, or explicit roleplay;
  • Sexual violence, coercion, exploitation, incest, bestiality, or necrophilia;
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery, including real or synthetic material;
  • “Nudify,” “undress,” clothing-removal, or similar transformation requests;
  • Sexualized depictions of an identifiable person without explicit lawful consent; and
  • Content promoting trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation.

Ordinary affection between consenting adults, such as holding hands, hugging, or non-explicit kissing, is generally allowed when it is not coercive, exploitative, or sexualized. Clearly non-sexual fashion, fitness, swimwear, maternity, breastfeeding, health, or classical-art contexts may be permitted, but model providers may apply stricter limits.

Real people, face swaps, and deceptive media

CamArt AI offers Replace Character as an authorized editing tool. Deceptive or non-consensual face swaps remain prohibited.

You may use Replace Character only with media and face references you own or are authorized to use. You may not use CamArt AI to:

  • Swap faces without consent, or use someone else’s likeness without clear authorization;
  • Create a deceptive deepfake or realistic impersonation;
  • Make a real person appear to say or do something they did not say or do;
  • Fabricate a person’s endorsement of a product, service, political position, or organization;
  • Place a person in an invented sexual, intimate, criminal, violent, hateful, degrading, or humiliating situation;
  • Create fake evidence, identity documents, credentials, news footage, or surveillance material;
  • Impersonate a living or deceased person for fraud, manipulation, harassment, or reputational harm;
  • Use a person’s likeness, voice, or biometric characteristics without the rights and consent required by law; or
  • Mislead viewers about the authenticity, origin, date, or context of realistic media.

Permitted personal-media uses

Authorized family or personal media may be used for benign restoration, colorization, animation, or artistic transformation when you own or are authorized to use it; identifiable people have consented or another lawful basis applies; the result is not sexual, degrading, deceptive, or harmful; and material alteration is disclosed when viewers could mistake it for authentic media.

Respectful uses of images of a deceased person may be considered when you have the necessary rights or lawful authority. Highly realistic fabricated depictions of public figures may be rejected even when labeled.

Violence, gore, and abuse

Prohibited content includes:

  • Graphic gore, dismemberment, exposed organs, severe mutilation, or realistic extreme injury;
  • Torture, executions, sexual violence, or cruelty presented for shock, pleasure, or glorification;
  • Graphic abuse or killing of people or animals;
  • Celebration, encouragement, incitement, or operational assistance for real-world violence;
  • Credible threats or intimidation directed at a person or group;
  • Glorification of mass-casualty events, perpetrators, or attacks;
  • Exploitative depictions of real victims, disasters, war, accidents, or death; and
  • Instructions that meaningfully facilitate violent harm.

Non-graphic fictional action, fantasy battles, historical illustration, or stylized cartoon violence may be allowed when it does not glorify real-world harm. Documentary, educational, public-safety, or historical content may be considered when legitimate, sensitive, and no more graphic than reasonably necessary.

Hate, harassment, and violent extremism

You may not create or distribute:

  • Content that attacks, dehumanizes, excludes, or promotes hatred against people based on a protected characteristic;
  • Slurs or degrading stereotypes used to target or demean;
  • Praise, propaganda, recruitment, fundraising, or operational support for terrorist or violent extremist organizations;
  • Symbols, manifestos, or imagery used to glorify extremist violence;
  • Targeted harassment, bullying, intimidation, stalking, defamation, or humiliation; or
  • Content that encourages violence or discrimination against a protected group.

Counterspeech, historical documentation, education, and criticism of hateful ideologies may be allowed when the context clearly condemns rather than promotes the harmful material.

Suicide, self-harm, and eating disorders

You may not create content that:

  • Encourages, romanticizes, celebrates, or gives instructions for suicide or self-harm;
  • Depicts graphic self-harm for shock, gratification, or encouragement;
  • Promotes dangerous fasting, purging, extreme exercise, or other eating-disorder behavior;
  • Targets minors with body shaming or unhealthy body standards; or
  • Promotes dangerous challenges likely to cause serious injury.

Supportive, preventive, recovery-focused, documentary, or educational content may be allowed when it does not include actionable instructions, graphic imagery, or romanticization.

Drugs and regulated substances

You may not use CamArt AI to:

  • Promote, advertise, manufacture, sell, distribute, or obtain illegal drugs;
  • Provide instructions for producing, concealing, transporting, or using controlled substances;
  • Glamorize dangerous drug use or present it as aspirational;
  • Market recreational drugs, tobacco, vaping products, intoxicating cannabis products, psychedelics, or drug paraphernalia;
  • Encourage prescription-drug misuse, unsafe dosing, or counterfeit medication;
  • Target minors with alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or other age-restricted content; or
  • Evade legal restrictions relating to controlled or regulated substances.

Neutral public-health education, prevention, harm-reduction, recovery, medical, historical, or journalistic content may be allowed when it does not facilitate procurement, production, or misuse. Incidental, non-glamorized depiction of lawful adult alcohol use may be allowed, with stricter standards for public content.

Weapons, dangerous activity, and unlawful conduct

You may not create content that meaningfully facilitates:

  • Construction, procurement, modification, concealment, or use of weapons or explosives;
  • Chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear harm;
  • Terrorism, human trafficking, organized crime, or violent criminal activity;
  • Burglary, theft, evasion of law enforcement, document forgery, counterfeiting, or fraud;
  • Dangerous stunts or challenges likely to cause serious injury;
  • Hacking, phishing, malware, credential theft, or attacks on systems;
  • Purchase or sale of illegal or dangerously regulated goods; or
  • Circumvention of safety systems, access controls, sanctions, or legal restrictions.

Fictional, historical, safety-training, or news contexts may be considered when they do not provide operational guidance or materially increase someone’s ability to cause harm.

Privacy, identity, and personal data

You must respect the privacy and identity rights of others. You may not create, upload, infer, expose, or distribute:

  • Home addresses, private contact details, financial information, medical records, government identifiers, or account credentials;
  • Intimate or sensitive personal information without authority;
  • Fake identity documents or professional credentials;
  • Content intended to locate, track, surveil, or profile a person without consent;
  • Facial-recognition databases or biometric identification tools;
  • Inferences about a person’s sensitive traits based on appearance; or
  • Material that facilitates stalking, doxxing, blackmail, or identity theft.

A publicly available image is not necessarily free to use. Before uploading media, remove location and device metadata you do not want processed. Do not rely on CamArt AI or a third-party provider to remove EXIF, GPS, device, or other embedded metadata before processing or storage.

Fraud, misinformation, and public-interest deception

You may not create:

  • Scams, phishing material, fake reviews, fabricated testimonials, or false endorsements;
  • Misleading advertisements, product results, “before and after” evidence, or financial claims;
  • Fabricated medical evidence or dangerous health misinformation;
  • Fake news footage, disaster imagery, crime-scene evidence, or official communications presented as authentic;
  • Misleading content about elections, voting procedures, candidates, public officials, armed conflict, emergencies, or other matters of public importance;
  • Content intended to suppress civic participation or deceive people about legal rights; or
  • Impersonations of governments, emergency services, news organizations, financial institutions, or other trusted entities.

Political art, commentary, or clearly fictional satire may be allowed when lawful, non-deceptive, and appropriately labeled. A disclosure does not make voter deception, fraud, or another prohibited use acceptable.

Intellectual property and rights of others

You may use only material that you have the legal right to use. You may not:

  • Infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other proprietary rights;
  • Request a substantially identical unauthorized copy of a protected work;
  • Create counterfeit products, forged brand assets, or misleading branded content;
  • Suggest sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement that does not exist;
  • Remove attribution, watermarks, ownership, provenance, or rights-management information for an infringing or deceptive purpose; or
  • Distribute pirated, leaked, or stolen content.

Requests to imitate a living artist or reproduce a specific protected work may be restricted by applicable law, the selected model provider, or CamArt AI safeguards.

Circumventing safeguards

You may not attempt to bypass this Policy or any safety system. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Obscuring disallowed terms through spacing, symbols, misspellings, another language, or coded references;
  • Hiding prohibited instructions in uploaded media, metadata, or linked content;
  • Splitting one prohibited request into apparently harmless steps;
  • Repeatedly modifying a rejected request to obtain substantially the same prohibited result;
  • Disabling, reverse engineering, overwhelming, or manipulating moderation systems; or
  • Using another account after restriction or suspension.

An unsuccessful attempt may still be treated as a violation.

Contextual and borderline content

We distinguish between depiction, discussion, endorsement, and facilitation. Depending on context, we may allow:

  • Non-explicit affection between consenting adults;
  • Clearly non-sexual fashion, swimwear, fitness, maternity, or health imagery;
  • Non-graphic fictional or stylized violence;
  • Historical, documentary, educational, scientific, or journalistic discussion of harmful subjects;
  • Counterspeech that condemns hate or extremism;
  • Prevention, recovery, or harm-reduction material;
  • Clearly fictional and appropriately labeled satire; and
  • Benign restoration or animation of authorized personal photographs.

No contextual exception applies to child sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual violence, face swapping, dangerous real-person impersonation, operational assistance for serious wrongdoing, credible threats or incitement, or attempts to evade safety systems.

When context is unclear, we may reject the request or ask for more information. A third-party provider may reject content that CamArt AI would otherwise consider permissible.

Private and public content

This Policy applies equally to private and public content. Successful generation does not make content eligible for public display.

Content submitted to Inspiration or another public surface may be subject to stricter general-audience and brand-safety standards. We may hold a submission for review; reject or remove suggestive, shocking, misleading, or regulated content; restrict public visibility; require a label or context; or revisit a decision when new information appears.

Content remains private unless you affirmatively choose to publish or share it, subject to our Privacy Policy and the product controls available at that time.

AI disclosure, provenance, and labels

AI-generated and materially AI-altered media must not be used to mislead people about its origin. When sharing content outside CamArt AI, clearly disclose the use of AI whenever a reasonable viewer could otherwise mistake the result for authentic media, especially for:

  • Identifiable people;
  • Real places, events, or evidence;
  • News and public-interest subjects;
  • Political and civic matters;
  • Advertising, endorsements, or product demonstrations; and
  • Documentary, medical, legal, or evidentiary contexts.

CamArt AI will identify AI generation within the product and will apply visible labels, metadata, content credentials, or other machine-readable provenance where applicable law or a material risk of deception requires it. The method may vary by model, file type, and technical support. You may not remove or obscure required markers for deception or circumvention. A label does not make otherwise prohibited content permissible.

How moderation works

We may use a combination of rules-based checks, automated text and media classifiers, hash matching, safety providers, generation-model safeguards, human review, and account, device, payment, or usage signals.

Prompts, uploads, outputs, and related identifiers may be sent to third-party generation or moderation providers when needed to provide and protect the Services. Their data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.

Automated systems can make mistakes. Not every item is reviewed by a person. A successful generation is not an approval, and a block does not necessarily mean the content is illegal.

Human reviewers may examine content when it is flagged, reported, submitted publicly, appealed, or necessary for safety, support, or legal compliance. We seek to limit access to what is reasonably necessary.

Enforcement

Depending on the content, intent, severity, history, and applicable law, CamArt AI may:

  • Warn you or provide safety guidance;
  • Block a prompt, upload, generation, download, or publication;
  • Withhold or delete an output;
  • Remove or reduce visibility of public content;
  • Limit a feature, model, credit benefit, payment method, or account;
  • Suspend or permanently terminate an account;
  • Block related accounts used to evade enforcement;
  • Preserve relevant records;
  • Notify affected rights holders where appropriate;
  • Cooperate with lawful authority requests; or
  • Report apparent illegal activity where required or permitted.

Severe violations, including child exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, trafficking, credible threats, or violent extremist activity, may result in immediate termination and reporting without prior warning. Repeated borderline violations or deliberate evasion may result in stronger action.

The treatment of credits and payments associated with a blocked or removed generation is governed by the Terms and Refund Policy.

Reporting content or illegal activity

Report content or conduct through an available in-product reporting control or by emailing contact@camart.ai. You do not need to be the person depicted to submit a safety report.

Include, where available:

  • The URL, task identifier, or exact location of the content;
  • A clear explanation of the concern;
  • The Policy category or law you believe applies;
  • Relevant screenshots or supporting information;
  • Your name and contact information; and
  • For rights complaints, information showing that you own or represent the affected rights.

We may request additional information, confirm receipt where required, review reports in good faith, and provide information about our decision and available remedies where applicable law requires.

EU notice-and-action information

Where the EU Digital Services Act applies, a notice should explain why the content is allegedly illegal, identify its exact electronic location, provide the reporting person’s name and email except where the law permits anonymity, and include a good-faith statement that the information is accurate and complete. We will acknowledge and decide a sufficiently precise notice without undue delay, act diligently and objectively, and provide a statement of reasons and available redress where required.

Non-consensual intimate imagery

A removal request should identify the exact content, state that the requester is the depicted person or an authorized representative, explain that publication was not consented to, and include a good-faith accuracy statement and physical or electronic signature. Where United States law requires the covered-platform process, we will remove a validly reported intimate depiction within 48 hours after receiving the complete request and make the required reasonable efforts regarding known identical copies. Other urgent or mandatory removal periods remain unaffected.

Appeals

If you believe we made a mistake when blocking content, removing a public item, or restricting an account, email contact@camart.ai with the subject “Content Policy Appeal.”

Include:

  • Your account email;
  • The task, content, or decision identifier;
  • The date of the decision;
  • Why you believe the decision was incorrect; and
  • Any relevant context, consent, authority, or rights information.

Appeals may be reviewed by a person. Review does not guarantee reversal. Evidence-preservation or reporting duties involving child exploitation, credible threats, or other serious illegal activity are not suspended by an appeal. This process does not limit any regulatory, judicial, or independent dispute-resolution right available under law.

Where the EU Digital Services Act requires an internal complaint system, an eligible user may submit a complaint for at least six months after the moderation decision. The review will be timely, non-discriminatory, non-arbitrary, and not decided solely through automation. We will communicate the result and any certified out-of-court dispute-settlement option that applies.

Changes to this Policy

Generative AI, safety practices, and legal requirements continue to evolve. We may update this Policy to address new capabilities, risks, laws, or provider requirements. We will post the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date. We will provide additional notice for a material change where required.
